Sweet Summer

Just like anybody, mosquitos also enjoy the sweetness of summer. There are tons of festivities to enjoy including picnics, outdoor cinema, concerts, barbecues, sports, etc. However, these little party crashers are often uninvited and leave more wounds than they intend.

My weapon of choice: LISTERINE.

Using Listerine is a home remedy I have found effective. Listerine is an antiseptic mouthwash brand used to kill germs. It contains eucalyptol, which comes from eucalyptus oil. This natural ingredient is commonly used in insecticides and insect repellants.

It's extremely convenient to carry a small bottle around with me. It's also helpful during camping trips if there is no direct access for tooth brushing. Best part is that Listerine is cheap and available in most drugstores. To apply, fill it in a spray bottle or use cotton pad and gently smooth over your skin. Remember to buy unscented original and apply every 40 minutes (downside). You may also mix it 50/50 with vinegar for more effective results.
